Dr. Coakley is a graduate of the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her anesthesia residency at Virginia Commonwealth University, in Richmond Virginia. She has been in clinical practice in Colorado since 2010. All medical treatments are administered under the care of our Medical Director. Dr. Coakley is a clinical anesthesiologist. She is a specialist in anesthesia for outpatient procedures. Dr. Coakley has extensive training and experience using ketamine in her clinical practice. Anesthesiologists are medical doctors concerned with maintaining patient’s health and safety, while protecting them from experiencing physiologic (pain) and emotional (awareness) stress associated with surgery or painful diagnostic procedures. Dr. Coakley believes ketamine is a remarkable tool, used similarly, to provide rapid relief from pain and distress associated with many psychological disorders, certain chronic pain conditions and migraine. As our medical director, Dr. Coakley works to optimize patient care. Successful treatment means bringing relief from physical and emotional discomfort and the restoration of function for each of her patients. She works intimately with our team of nurses, other care providers and each patient to tailor a personalized treatment plan. Dr. Coakley is a Colorado native and takes great pride in the place her family calls home.
