Psychedelics Today
Psychedelic experiences are regularly reported as being some of the most profound and meaningful experiences in people's lives. New data is being released regularly about the medical and psychological benefits of psychedelic drugs. As the psychedelic research field continues to grow, the general public is starting to become more interested in the potential benefits that psychedelics may have on mental health and overall well-being. Just because the research points towards positive results, this does not mean positive results will be experienced through recreational use. While recreational experiences have been very beneficial for people in some capacity the risk for psychological and physical danger increases.
With all that said, it is hard to describe how difficult and uncomfortable a bad psychedelic experience can be. If you've had one, odds are you'd like to avoid a repeat. This is why we have put together this short webinar, so you can learn some of the most common mistakes and hopefully avoid them.
At Psychedelics Today, we believe difficult experiences can have value, but they are only desirably under very specific situations.

An Introduction to Philosophy and Psychedelics
Psychedelics Today
The Greeks were culturally homogeneous from about the 8th century BCE, calling themselves Hellenes. They celebrated a variety of ecstatic rites whose shamanic origins fostered a diverse mythology, not a monotheistic orthodoxy that stifled individual thinking. Orphic, Dionysian, and Eleusinian initiations celebrated experiences of death and rebirth, inspired the great tragedies, and nurtured mystical experiences that influenced philosophers’ inquiries into the meaning of life.
Antidepressants and Psychedelics
Matter Academy
Their need for daily use, short and long-term side effects, as well as withdrawal reactions can complicate therapy and introduce risks to stopping
This leaves people feeling dependent and stuck with antidepressants, even when benefits are unclear or side effects are present
Unfortunately, many professionals don't feel confident or comfortable helping persons taper antidepressants resulting in increasing and unnecessary long-term use
But what alternatives are there?
And how can you safely transition away from antidepressants?
Psychedelic therapies are rapidly emerging as evidence-based alternatives for managing mental health conditions treated with antidepressants
This course aims to inform and educate about preventing the risks of antidepressant discontinuation, and strategies for proceeding safely
It also includes information on the interactions between antidepressants and various psychedelic substances
Augmented Psychotherapy Training
CE, CME
MIND Foundation
In psychedelic-augmented psychotherapy, altered states of consciousness are purposefully induced to promote and augment psychotherapeutic processes. This includes pharmacological (psilocybin, ketamine etc.) and non-pharmacological induction methods (breathwork etc.).
Psychedelic integration therapy helps patients/clients draw therapeutic benefits from psychedelic experiences that have taken place (or will take place) outside of the therapy setting while also minimizing potential harms.
The APT program follows a blended learning model: Over the course of the two training years, five intensive on-site trainings take place in Berlin, Germany. Furthermore, weekly online training sessions in a variety of formats are held over the entire duration of the program. Learn more about the training contents.
Beyond Experience Facilitator Training
MIND Foundation
The course provides a comprehensive skill set for working with the whole spectrum of psychedelic experiences, both personally and when supporting others.
The course’s main goal is to engage in a deep integration process and help you remember, express, and consciously connect with your psychedelic experiences to create meaningful change.
Theory meets practice: We thoughtfully developed the sequence of techniques to support you as a whole person. The program is based on scientific research and relevant concepts for psychedelic integration, which are also taught in the course.
BEYOND EXPERIENCE is an essential part of the curriculum of our 2-year program in Augmented Psychotherapy (APT) and is therefore also intended for medical doctors, psychiatrists, and psychotherapists.
Bwiti: School of Life
Matter Academy
This is a unique educational opportunity. Rather than a materialistic view of the historical development of iboga and ibogaine in other contexts, we will explore the emerging and evolving cultural contexts of its use and the way that these practices and ideals have influenced global culture and approaches to healing and spirituality. Each 1.5 hour webcast included short clips of video material collected in villages that practice various branches of traditional Bwiti, followed by recordings from guest presentations and discussion.

CPD
Mind Medicine Australia
The training certificate follows world best practice following review of current practices including protocols developed by MAPS and the REBUS model developed at Imperial College London.
Certificate in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapies and Research
CIIS Center for Psychedelic Therapies and Research
The Psychedelic-Assisted Therapies and Research Certificate Program serves a growing need for the training of skilled therapist researchers who will ideally seek advanced training for future FDA-approved psychedelic-assisted and entactogen-assisted psychotherapy research. We use the term "psychedelic" to refer to both the classic psychedelics (LSD, psilocybin, peyote, ayahuasca, etc.) and to those drugs specifically termed "entactogens" and also known as "empathogens" (MDMA, MDA, etc.). Enrollees are professionals in specific licensed mental health and medical professions, as well as eligible ordained or commissioned clergy and chaplains.
