Position Title: Executive Director, Naropa Center for Psychedelic Studies# of Positions to Fill: 1Department/Program: Office of the President 61100Work Location: Hybrid On-Site/RemoteCampus Location: Arapahoe CampusReports to: University PresidentFLSA Classification: Exempt/SalariedFTE: 100% (40 hrs/week)Compensation: $90,370 - $122,000Job SummaryThe Executive Director is responsible for developing and managing operationsfor the new Naropa Center for Psychedelic Studies (NCPS), a dynamiccenter and social enterprise of high-visibility designed to achieveeducation, training research, income and impact objectives established inpartnership with NCPS and Naropa University leadership. The NCPS'sactivities and offerings include education and clinical training inpsychedelic therapies for clinicians, caregivers, and peer guides,regulatory and policy advocacy, developing clinical practiceopportunities, and collaborating in the creation of curriculum in theundergraduate and graduate degree programs of the university. The ExecutiveDirector is responsible for establishing and maintaining key partnerships inthe field of psychedelic studies and supporting research activities connectedto the center. The Director will develop and oversee areas of training,mentorship, and supervision for both Naropa degree students andpost-graduate professional trainees in close collaboration with facultydirectors. As a new university initiative that fosters interdisciplinaryprograms spanning multiple schools and departments, the NCPS is housed inthe Office of President. The Executive Director will report to the Presidentwhile working in close collaboration with NCPS Faculty Directors, receivingguidance from relevant advisory bodies.Job Duties & Responsibilities Serve as administrative head of the NCPS, ensuring integration andalignment of activities across various areas, including academic degreeprograms, public programs, and research projects. Collaborate with the President and coordinate with the Development divisionto create philanthropic and investment opportunities and cultivate financialsupporters. Develop and submit the annual proposed budget for NCPS. Manage NCPS within approved budgets and fiscal guidelines. Coordinate, in partnership with Faculty Co-Directors, the formulationof NCPS priorities, policies, strategies, budgets, operationalimplementation, and long-term strategic planning. Work closely with Executive Director for Naropa Extended Campus toimplement and manage public programs including the Certificate forPsychedelic-Assisted Therapies and other public and/or professional programs. Support Faculty Co-Directors in developing research through robustgrant-writing to fund research activities. Other duties as assigned.Please see full job description on website.
