Michael McGowan earned his Master of Science in Nurse Anesthesia (MSNA) from Westminster College in Salt Lake City, Utah and his bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Mississippi. He is a Board Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) with over 13 years of experience in healthcare, including 9 years of practicing anesthesia. Not only are Michael and our providers ACLS and PALS certified, but they have extensive experience in administering ketamine.
Michael and the Midwest Ketafusion team have provided anesthesia care and pain management services to patients of all ages for a wide array of surgical cases. As the primary anesthesia provider for Washington County Hospital and Clinics, he is skilled in providing surgical, pain management, and trauma stabilization anesthesia services. Michael is known to treat patients and staff with both kindness and respect. Preferring a low narcotic anesthetic technique, Ketamine infusions have played a major role in Michael's anesthetic practice. He brings with him many years of experience in administering ketamine both safely and effectively.
