David A. Hanley, MD, graduated from East Central University with a Bachelors degree in Science of Nursing in 1998 and practiced Critical Care Nursing and cardio thoracic recovery prior to graduating from Ross University School of Medicine in 2004 with High Honors. Dr Hanley completed his anesthesiology residency from the University of Kansas with special emphasis on regional anesthesia and chronic pain. Dr Hanley joined practice at Comanche County Memorial Hospital where he spent 8 years in practice and became an Associate Professor of both the University of Oklahoma Medical School and Oklahoma State University School of Osteopathic Medicine. During this time he played an involved role in medical student and resident teaching and helped in the development of the practice of regional anesthesia throughout the hospital. In 2016 he was appointed Medical Director of Anesthesiology and was heavily involved in developing a regional anesthesia program at SouthWestern Medical Center that was necessary for the Joint Center of Excellence accreditation that was being sought.
Dr Hanley is a Board Certified Anesthesiologist with subspecialties in both regional anesthesia and injection/infusion services used to treat both acute and chronic pain in addition to refractory mental health issues.
